This is the Story of Princess Tiana©

Princess Tiana is the protagonist in the movie, The Princess and the Frog. The story follows a young woman trying to live her dreams and open up a restuatant in New Oreleans. In a desperate attempt to make this dream after being severely misinformed, Tiana kisses a frog. As if that kiss wasn't slimy enough for her, she immediately transforms into a frog herself. Now she has to work together with Prince Naveen, who is the reason she's in the predicament, in order to transform them both back to human before it's too late.

Princess Tiana is loved by many for her drive and ambition. When she set her mind to it, she accomplished it. At the start of the movie, we are introduced to Tiana's dream since childhood. By the end of the movie, she's achieved her dreams and much more. Her story taught everyone a significant lesson, and she made history doing it. Tiana was Disney's first black princess, allowing her to win the hearts of many who wanted to see represenation in movies and characters.

During the movie, Tiana goes through a character delevopment like no other Disney princess. Like other Disney princesses, she learns a value lesson about herself at the end of the movie. However, her specific character development makes her different from the rest. She starts off with many strong characterists including:

however, her fatal flaw is obsession with fulfilling her biggest dream. This dichotomy is unique to her own experience as a black woman living in the United States South. Tiana's environment forces her to becomes a workaholic, never having enough time for family, friends, or fun, due to her devotions to making her dreams a reality.

Along the way, Tiana learns to value the small things in life, like the everyday interactions with her loved ones. By the end of the movie, Tiana is happy, and she's able to balance a stable career with a healthy love life. Princess Tiana, ends up with everything that everyone ever wanted for her: true happiness, and a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
